After mistakenly going to bed last night
without properly covering my hair, even I have to admit that my hair was a HOT mess this morning. My daughter, who doesn’t often comment in my hair, was compelled to give her critique–“Umm, umm mama. You need to tighten your roots. Your new growth is out of control.” She said matter of factly.

Truth was she was right. I’d had my hair pulled back in a ponytail and it simply wasn’t right. I had to do something and quick. And here’s what I came up with…
After
This took no time at all, which was a good thing. Little did I know, when I got to work I was going to be called in to speak on behalf of my companies union to a group of visiting high schoolers. Didn’t want to be in there looking crazy!
