Back to Hair Basics

Not many people can say that they lived in Hawaii. I’m happy to be among the few.

My time on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii was more than a memorable time for me. It was my first experience away from home. I was also a new wife and mother.

Why am I mentioning this on my hair blog, you may be wondering?

My time in Hawaii was also one of the only times in my adult life when I experienced significant hair growth!

Back then my hair routine was as simple as simple could be. A stay at home mom, styling my hair wasn’t much of a priority. So I basically washed my hair regularly–bi-weekly–blow dried my hair and pulled it back into a ponytail. Months passed before I would finally take notice to how long my hair had gotten!

After my recent hair debacles I’ve decided to give that routine a try again. If it worked then, it could very well work now.

Less is best 😉
