Who says you can’t rock natural hair for any occasion? Not me!

Yep, me and my girl trudged our way through the Michigan snow to a Mardi Gras party hosted by a local chapter of the men of Omega Phi Psi Fraternity.

The day before I’d taken my twist extensions out with a plan to get my hair pressed out that afternoon. But the day got too busy for me to stop mid-stream to make it to the appointment.

Did that deter my plans? Nope–the falling snow was trying to do that.

What I love most about my natural hair life is I can work with my hair in any state. A natural hair girl doesn’t allow her hair to dictate her plans.

I simply did a quick (literally 2 hrs before party time) roller set on my two strand twisted hair and was ready to rock and roll.
